Remember the miniature Casio watch rings that fit around fingers? Those were toy watches that looked functional. This time, Creamy Patina’s miniature luxury watches that button up a shirt’s cufflinks fully work like a normal timepiece. The tiny watch hands move, and some models even flash dates right on the cufflinks. If the wearer forgets their watch at home or somewhere, they can still track time with Creamy Patina’s button-sized luxury watches and even remind themselves of today’s date (in some watch models).

Creamy Patina prides itself on making the first functional miniature luxury watches that not only can tell time but also the date. Each watch is made with a 304-grade stainless steel casing and scratch- and shatter-resistant mineral glass crystal. Sharp objects trying to scrape or smash the watch will give up in the end with the materials encasing the functional miniature luxury timepieces.

Creamy Patina opts for stainless steel to make sure that the accessories have higher corrosion resistance and can withstand everyday use. The mineral glass crystal offers the clearest view possible to the wearer so that when they glance at the time or date, they are able to see it immediately. The watchmaker also states that changing the batteries can be easy and has provided a tutorial video so the wearer can do it themselves when needed.

There are four watch models in the 2023 collection of Creamy Patina’s miniature luxury watches. A headliner is what the watchmaker calls the world’s first automatic cufflink with a date function (aka a tiny watch that can tell the date). Named The Cuff Deeper, the date function sits at the 3 o’clock hour of the dial, and this model is equipped with fully automatic Japanese movement and a 40-hour power reserve. It also glows in the dark so the wearer can read the time and date even at night.

The Celebration comes through as a festive watch with a series of colored polka dots on the watch dial, and its luminescent hands and hour markers work well with the blue backdrop. A more business-looking series marks the entrance of The Cuffmaster – the name alone exudes serious business – and The Panzer. The first model embodies the shape of a ship’s wheel modernized with the second or minute markers engraved outside the watch glass.

The latter deviates from the usual circular shape to make way for its rectangular form, reminiscent of the leading luxury brands’ watches with its use of Roman Numerals, minimalist design, and selected color palette. In a campaign Creamy Patina launched, the watchmaker says owners can receive their functional miniature luxury watches in a round travel case made with vegan leather, and that these watches are now production-ready. These models are part of the 2023 collection since Creamy Patina already launched a series of functional miniature watches back in 2022.
